30 Apr 2024The Exceptional Circumstances policy will replace the current process around extensions and the Special Circumstances policy at the beginning of the 2024/25 Academic Year, in September 2024. The University will produce guidance for students and staff to explain these changes, which we will have input into over the coming months.

30 Apr 2024As the Student Parent Representative for the Students’ Association, I was keen to understand the experience of other students with dependents and so conducted a survey of the student parent experience. With 130 respondents, this uncovered a range of experiences and challenges. It is very clear, that we all have different circumstances, and although common themes emerged, there is no once size that fits all.
